             abstract = "The geologic analysis based on Landsat 5 TM images integrated to 
                         thematic maps for the geologic and structural map elaboration of 
                         the region of Rio Mucaja{\'{\i}} river, situated in Roraima 
                         state provided the identification of the tectonics boundaries 
                         among the Guiana and Parima Belts. The techniques used during the 
                         digital processing allowed to identify, to extract, to condense, 
                         to enhance linear features and to separate different geological 
                         unities, by spectral and textural response of different 
                         lithologic, structural and geomorphologic types. Such processing 
                         allowed the delimitation of new unitiesand the refining of 
                         geologic contacts. New lineament were identified, indicating a 
                         sinistral cinematic for the target region.",
