| Resumo | The territorial expansion of the agribusiness, in special the plantation of cane of sugar and use of degraded pastures, in the basin of the river Uberaba impact the preservation of the natural resources, being that the occurrence of the erosion directly correlates with the use and occupation of the ground. The environmental zoning APA Uberaba river basin, allows a broad understanding of natural landscapes and changed those that require protection to ensure the ecological. The proposal of this work is to elaborate the ambient zoning of the area. The cartographic documents had been generated on the basis of geology, net of draining, declivity and use of the ground. The edge of the tableland one is the area of responsible recharge for the water supply of the city of Uberaba even though in the critical periods of dries. It is possible to observe the disorder of the use and occupation of the ground in the basin of the high course of the river Uberaba where the areas with a bigger declivity and pertaining to the Marília Formation must be observed and be preserved. It is necessary its transformation in Areas of Permanent Conservation with priority of the preservation work and recovery of the degraded areas already, instituting the general prohibition of plantations without previous study and authorization of competent agencies, preventing thus the advance of the antropic actions. |
