AbstractThe geometric and radiometric resolutions of a thermal Linescan was determined and its relationship was established. The geometric resolution was determined through the MTF (Modulation Transfer Function). The radiometric resolution was obtained from laboratory experiments where a NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference)was determined. By analyzing the resolution relationship, a new parameter, was proposed to describe it.
