AbstractThe work was accomplished in the portion east from São Paulo, Vale do Paraíba seeking to obtain interpretative criteria of images Alos for Geoenvironmental Mapping. Starting from the analysis textural of the images, it took place a mapping of the Basic Units of Segment (UBC's) and their properties as: Resistance to the Erosion (Changeability), Permeability, Tropy, Asymmetry of Relief and Plasticidade/Ruptibilidade. Finally they settled down the relationships of Equivalence between UBC's and their properties for Geoenvironmental Units definition (UGA's).
