| Resumo | The objective of this research is esteem the index of vegetation for periods determined in the direction to verify if the reduction of the vegetal covering in the Parque Estadual Serra da Tiririca through NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) occurred throughout the time. The six years had been chosen five periods in five intervals. The images used for the calculation of the vegetation index are of the satellite Landsat 5, sensor TM (Thematic Mapper), with 30 m of space resolution and had been requested to the Brazilian Institute of Space Research (INPE). The results of this work are five images generated for the ArcGis with the indices of the NDVI to contribute for the management of the Parque Estadual da Serra da Tiririca. |
