AbstractTraditionally, soil mapping begins with the preparation of a preliminary map, where the units are inferred from soil from photo interpretation and / or by image interpretation satellite that are associated with knowledge and experience pedologist's own. However, the traditional production process of conventional soil maps difficult to update quickly and accurately and Low cost of soil surveys. However, the use of techniques quantitative prediction for spatial mapping of soils and their attributes has been growing in recent years due to advances in processing power of computers, coupled with the availability of new mathematical and statistical methods. This study aimed to using linear regression technique in digital soil mapping in basin of the Gama, Distrito Federal. It was found that the technique regression can be an alternative for soil mapping in Distrito Federal.
