| Abstract | The increasing use and occupation of land in the hidrographyc basin of Açaizal stream, caused mainly by agricultural expansion, disorderly, brings with it the consequence of a series of social, economic and environmental. Portraying these changes through the spatial analysis, using satellite images geoprocessing, at different times and in the same space, is the best way you have the momentary profiles and consequently the history of its variants. The profile of each image denotes the changes made by man, the comparison of these changes will provide data analysis that will define the profile of that space, the overlap of this information will feature a historical space. In the case of the hidrographyc basin of Açaizal stream, the result was an increasing occupation of land, resulting primarily from construction of access roads to villages, especially in the Highway MA122 and its vicinal; ponderante other factor is related to the development of villages and urban centers, that as they grow increasingly need the raw materials. The purpose of this history is to characterize the activity performed by man and its changes in the environment of this information, public agencies, private companies and / or ONGs Environmental can develop plans and projects for environmental awareness, as well as (re) ordination of activities within the same. |
