AbstractThis research presents a proposal methodology of space modeling in format to raster for distribution of urban trips using the Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) and the Analythic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Through a hierarchic structure the methodology generates maps of impedance of the displacement and surfaces of cost from which origin/destination matrix is gotten. To test the validity of the methodology a case study was carried through, getting itself that the coefficient of determination (R2) gotten discloses that the model has capacity approximately to explain 81% of the relative data to the number of displacements between traffic zones.
