| Resumo | The objective of this study was to assess spatial variability of Loblolly Pine Linnaeus in properties function of the soil obtained from a detailed mapping, in the scale 1:10.000, in an area of the Forest company Battistella, located in the Rio Negrinho municipal district, state of Santa Catarina. In precision silviculture management principles must be adapted to the field variability. This requires efficient techniques to estimate and map the spatial and/or temporary variability of attributes of the soil for management units definition. However, the determination of some variables that characterize the properties of a particular soil is often onerous. In these situations it is interesting to estimate such variables as a function of others that present good space correlation with the former and are of simple determination. This is possible by a cross-semivariogram. The interpolator that uses the cross-semivariogram in modeling is called co-kriging. The aim of this study was to test the co-kriging method for estimating management units related to soil properties by means of statistical techniques multivariate and by geostatistical. Results showed these management units can be estimated with high precision by co-kriging. It also got evident the importance of if ally technical multivariate with geostatistical and geoprocessing in the definition of the Management Units for loblolly pine. |
