| Abstract | Environmental Education (EA) is an issue of great importance to be discussed in school as it is a measure of public awareness of citizens, and is dedicated to conducting environmental policies targeted to the needs of the environment to ensure the quality of natural resources for future generations. Thus, a workshop was held with students in 2nd year of high school of the College of Military Police in Feira de Santana - CPM - trying to raise awareness for current environmental issue, where they discussed topics such as Environment, Environmental Impact and Environmental Education. For both, were used satellite images of lakes existing in the municipality concerned, and these were support for the discussions around the theme of the environment and on the use of the same appeal as teaching in class. From the discussions, the students propose mitigating actions to minimize the impacts in the region and were aware of environmental issues in your municipality. | |||
