AbstractThis paper considers a methodology to elaborate special flying map sheets with altimetry (CEAPA - 1:250.000 scale), which are of great interest for both Civil and Military societies. For that, we have used remote sensing data combined with aeronautic information. The methodology involved on the creation of the CEAPA is a viable alternative and is nearly costless to cover the intire Brazilian Territory, which have had only 40% of it covered by this type of map. The results obtained on the creation of the CEAPA for the North Roraima State (NB-20-Z-D) were used to demostrate the viability of that methodology.
