AbstractControl points and correction models are the main elements of imagerys geometric correction. As an organization develops several projects, it will be necessary a data basis system to manage great quantities of these points. IBGE has concluded the first version of a particular system related to the 1:50,000 and 1:100,000 mapping, based on several field surveys throughout the last four years. This paper presents a summary of its functions and characteristics. Finally, INPE is invoked to become the manager of a national data basis of orbital imagerys control points.
